# Parallel Life Privacy Policy

Parallel Life is a communication training app that uses AI-generated roleplay and coaching. This Privacy Policy explains what data may be processed when you use the app.

## 1. Information We Process

### a. Conversation Content

Before you use AI roleplay or coaching, the app presents an in-app disclosure screen and asks for your permission. If you consent, the following content may be sent to DeepSeek, our third-party AI provider, to generate:

- roleplay counterpart replies
- communication coaching feedback

This may include:

- the scenario context needed to run the roleplay, such as the scenario title, roles, and situation
- the text you type into the session
- the session transcript when you request a feedback report

We do not intentionally send your name, email address, phone number, or payment card details to DeepSeek unless you type that information into a practice session yourself.

Please do not enter highly sensitive personal information such as government identification numbers, bank account details, passwords, medical records, or confidential business information.

### b. Subscription and Purchase Data

Purchases and subscription status are handled through Apple. We do not receive your full payment card information.

### c. Advertising and Device Data

If you use the free version, the app may use Google AdMob to display ads. Google AdMob and its related components may process information such as:

- device identifiers
- advertising data
- product interaction data
- diagnostics and performance data
- coarse location

Premium subscribers do not see ads.

## 2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

- provide AI roleplay and coaching features
- deliver and restore subscriptions
- improve app performance and reliability
- show ads to free users

## 3. Third-Party Services

The app may share data with the following third-party services:

- DeepSeek, for AI response and feedback generation based on the practice content you choose to submit
- Apple, for subscription billing and purchase restoration
- Google AdMob, for advertising and related diagnostics in the free tier

We use third-party service providers only for the purposes described in this policy and require them to handle submitted data under privacy and security protections that are comparable to ours.

## 4. Data Storage

Practice history is stored locally on your device in the current app version. If you delete the app or clear local history, that locally stored content may be removed from the device.

## 5. Consent and Controls

You can:

- review the AI disclosure before any AI request is sent
- choose not to grant AI consent and avoid using AI roleplay and coaching
- withdraw previously granted AI consent later in the app's Settings screen
- clear local practice history from within the app
- contact us with privacy questions

## 6. Tracking and Personalized Ads

If advertising tracking is enabled on your device and permission is granted, advertising-related data may be used for ad measurement or personalization consistent with your system settings and third-party SDK behavior.

## 7. Children

Parallel Life is not directed to children under 13.

## 8. Your Choices

You can:

- choose not to subscribe
- manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple Settings
- decline advertising tracking
- avoid entering sensitive personal information into AI sessions
- clear local practice history from within the app
